The term 'accords' is used to refer to a variety of agreements between two or more parties. The most common type of accord is an international agreement, such as the Oslo Accords, which were signed in 1993 by Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The Oslo Accords established a framework for peace negotiations between the two sides and set out a plan for the gradual transfer of power from Israel to the Palestinians. Other types of accords include PACTS, which are agreements between two or more countries that are not legally binding, and ENTENTES, which are agreements between two or more countries that are legally binding.
