Yitzhak Rabin was a 70s Israeli leader who served as Prime Minister from 1974 to 1977. He was known for his efforts to bring peace to the Middle East, and was assassinated in 1995. Golda Meir was another 70s Israeli leader, serving as Prime Minister from 1969 to 1974. She was the first female Prime Minister of Israel, and was known for her strong leadership during the Yom Kippur War. Meir was also the fourth Prime Minister of Israel, and was in office until 1974.
