Tara Lipinski was the 1998 Skating Champion. She is an American figure skater who won the gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. She is also the youngest individual to ever win a gold medal in the Winter Olympics at the age of 15. Lipinski began skating at the age of six and quickly rose to fame, becoming the 1997 World Champion and the 1998 U.S. National Champion.
