The 1994 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat. Rabin, an Israeli politician, was the fifth Prime Minister of Israel from 1974 to 1977 and again from 1992 until his assassination in 1995. He was a key figure in the Oslo Accords, which sought to bring peace between Israel and Palestine. Rabin was also a recipient of the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize, along with Peres and Arafat.
