Michael Stich was the 1991 Wimbledon Champion. He was a German professional tennis player who won 18 singles titles and 11 doubles titles during his career. He is best known for winning the men's singles title at Wimbledon in 1991, defeating three-time champion Boris Becker in the final. He also won the men's doubles title at Wimbledon in 1996 with partner John McEnroe. Stich was ranked as high as World No. 2 in singles and World No. 5 in doubles.
