The 1980s Pontiac Fiero was a two-seater sports car produced by the Pontiac division of General Motors. It was the first mass-produced mid-engine sports car by an American manufacturer and was introduced in 1983. The Fiero was designed to be fuel efficient and was powered by a four-cylinder engine. It was available in both coupe and convertible body styles and was offered with a variety of options, including a V6 engine and a manual transmission. The Fiero was discontinued in 1988 due to declining sales.
