The CAIRO Conference was held from November 22 to 26, 1943 and was attended by the leaders of the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, and the United States. The Tehran Conference was held from November 28 to December 1, 1943 and was attended by the same three leaders. The conferences were held to discuss the progress of World War II and to plan for the post-war world.
