The 1836 Texas Battle Site is famously known as the ALAMO. The ALAMO was a former mission in San Antonio, Texas, where a small group of Texan soldiers fought against the Mexican army in a 13-day siege. The battle ended with the death of all the Texan soldiers, but their bravery and sacrifice inspired the Texans to fight for their independence from Mexico.
